Her strong accounting and tax foundations enable her to find creative solutions for her clients, in an industry that has seen constant changes in regulations and reductions in reimbursements over the past decade.
Deborah is a frequent speaker and author on topics related to medical practice management and revenue enhancement for physician groups, hospitals, and various medical associations. She was a featured speaker at the national Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) convention in 2017, the annual NJMGMA Practice Management Conference in 2017, as well as the Atlantic Regional Osteopathic Convention over the last several years. Deborah has been published in MD News, The Journal and numerous other periodicals and frequently conducts seminars in hospitals and offices.
Deborah is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is president of the Southern Ocean Medical Center Foundation, a board member of both Hackensack Meridian Health Foundation and CPC Behavioral Healthcare, past president of the United Way of Ocean County, and trustee of the Meridian Health Professional Care Committee. Deborah received the Warren G. Christenson and Young Altruistic Professional Awards from United Way in 2006 and 2010, respectively. She was included in the NJ Biz 2007 Class of Forty Under 40 and 2010 Class of Fifty Women of Distinction. In 2014 she was named a Woman of Distinction by the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Loyola University.
