Maria T. Ramos, EA, manager in Cg Tax, Audit & Advisory’s Tax Services Group, provides specialized tax services to a variety of clients, helping to ensure maximum tax savings and profitability. Maria concentrates on mid to large-sized businesses in a variety of industries including nonprofit organizations, high net worth individuals, and more.
Maria focuses on the tax preparation and technical review of domestic and foreign tax returns, and has extensive experience in tax planning and tax research on complex tax matters and regulations. She also specializes in IRS offshore voluntary disclosure agreements, IRS offshore streamlined disclosure agreements, IRS criminal cases, and is an enrolled agent with the IRS.
Prior to joining Cg, Maria held a controllership position in the private sector.
Maria earned a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University and graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Florida Institute of CPAs. Born in Chile and raised in Miami, FL, Maria is fluent in Spanish. She currently resides in the New York’s Capital District with her husband and three children.
