The New Jersey Division of Taxation has updated a summary of important tax changes for the 2018 tax year. Among other items, the summary discusses the increased retirement exclusion for 2018 and future tax years, the change in form names from Schedule A to Schedule NJ-COJ (credit for taxes paid to other states) and Schedule B to Schedule NJ-DOP (gains or income from disposition of property), the new child and dependent care credit, and the increase in the percentage of the federal earned income credit allowed.
