The IRS has updated its “Get My Payment” tool to include information on how the second Economic Impact Payments (EIPs) will be delivered to eligible individuals to provide COVID-19 relief. Here’s a question that has been updated: “I received my first EIP on an EIP Card. Will my second payment be sent to that card?” The answer: The form of payment for the second EIP may be different than the first. Some people who received a paper check last time might receive a prepaid debit card this time, or vice versa.
