Info on Second Round of EIPs

As the second round of economic impact payments (EIPs) rolls out, eligible taxpayers may be able to help speed up the process. The IRS has updated its “Get My Payment” tool, which answers questions about eligibility and allows you to provide the IRS with information it needs to issue an EIP. Payments of up to $600 per individual, $1,200 per married couple and $600 per qualifying child started going out in late December. EIPs begin to phase out when adjusted gross income exceeds $75,000 for single filers and $150,000 for joint filers. If you’re eligible and haven’t yet received a second EIP, you can check the status of your EIP and learn other ways to avoid delays here. For questions, contact the Cg Team. © 2021
