Cg Tax, Audit & Advisory (“Cg”) is pleased to announce that Anthony J. Turano, CPA has been promoted to Shareholder. In his almost four years with the firm, Anthony has contributed significantly to Cg’s Accounting & Auditing Services Group, as well as the firm’s overall success.
With 15 years of accounting experience, Anthony assists a variety of clients with their financial and operational concerns, bringing significant financial accounting and reporting experience to his client engagements. Anthony works closely with clients on accounting, financial planning, and cash-flow issues to enhance client profitability and maximize savings.
Anthony prepares, reviews, and audits financial statements and related disclosures for companies of various sizes and structures to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP/IFRS regulatory requirements and supervises staff on audit engagements. Anthony’s technical experience includes ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 842 lease standard, Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404, complex debt and equity instruments, carve-out audits, and financial statement preparation under Rule 3-05 of Regulation S-X. He has also served several entities involved in the IPO process.
Anthony has extensive experience in a number of industries including software and technology, transportation and logistics, as well as pharmaceutical and life sciences.
During his time in the private industry, Anthony was a manager of consolidations and international accounting where he led the global implementation of several systems including Hyperion HFN, Blackline, Concur T&E and Invoice Management, Equity Edge, and E-Trade.
Anthony is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
